Cheaper and more convenient than a window unit. I spent an extra 200 for this advertized 14000 BTU unit. Sorry to say, it was sorely disappointing. I had an old 12000 BTU mobile that worked well, but I wanted to get something more powerful for a larger room. This unit barely kept up with my old model! It is very bulky and badly designed and is impossibly heavy too.
