I purchased 2 of these units yesterday at BJ wholesale club for $250.00 each “awesome deal”. My windows are small as I live in an attic apartment in an old home. HOT and HUMID. I haven’t even put the 2nd one in yet and I think I may not have to. My entire apartment is probably about 750 square feet. It was 88 yesterday and it kept my front room (150 sq feet) plus down the hall very cool and comfortable. After the apartment was cooled down I switched it to the Energy Save and set to 70. The A/C worked beautifully. My concern was that I wanted to leave on all day but I didn’t want it to run constantly…and it didn’t it shut off and on perfectly. I will have to put the other one in because it would be too much for the one to maintain the entire apartment.

I just returned the Wytner ARC12000 portable unit “Did not work at all” I had a defective unit I think. This little puppy is great.

It is as quiet as any other A/C I have been around so I am not sure how to rate the noise as no A/C can not be heard..it sounds normal to me. Easy to use, easy to install. I am very pleased.
