I originally bought another brand of stick vac for my hardwood floors but it didn’t do what I was looking for. I then went to epinions and read Carol’s review (I love her sense of humor!) and she actually taught be a thing or two about stick vacs that I wasn’t aware of. Now that I think about it, it makes all the sense in the world but until it’s been brought to your attention, why would you think of it?? I’m talking about the rotating brush.

I too was needing a mini vacuum for pet hair, kitty litter… all the miscellaneous stuff that accumulates on your hardwood floors on a daily basis and the first stick vac I bougth had a rotating brush and my floors never seemed to be free of debris… until I read Carol’s review and went out and bought this stick vac.

OH MY GOSH!!!!! What an amazing little thing it is! I was addicted to cleaning yesterday after bringing it home. It worked beautifully. I could actually see the cat hair that was maybe 12″ away from the nozzle getting sucked towards the vacuum because there was so much power. I agree, it is a little noisy but it works so well that you don’t seem to be bothered by the noise. This is truly the first time I have ever walked around my house without needing to thoroughly clean off my bare feet every time I wanted to put them on the sofa or the bed… I always brush them off but I didn’t have to clean up the floor after brushing them. Ahhhh! And every night after my daughter gets her bath, I would dress her and make sure that she had shoes on until she went down because her feet used to get so dirty… not last night. It was great! I put her to bed with a quick dusting of her toes and off she went.

I picked up my vacuum at Linens-N-Things for $21.18, my entire bill came to $23.09. It was priced at $29.99 but I had a Bed, Bath and Beyond coupon for $10 off of $30… would you believe that I had to spend an extra $1.79 to bring me to the $30.00 to get the $10 off $30?? I know, it’s still a good deal, I bought one of the least expensive items in the store (a lovely smelling Yankee Candle Votive) but it’s just the principal… Anyway, I was very happy with my cost and the job that this little vacuum does.

And it’s a wonderful sized vacuum for everyday, light household cleaning. I wish it had a longer cord, but that doesn’t even really bother me because I can always use an extension cord to not have to keep unplugging/plugging it in. And so the only gripe I have with it, and again, it’s not the end of the world is that the on/off switch is on the canister part and not the handle part… however, it has to be that way since you’re able to take the vacuum apart and use it as a shoulder vacuum for anything other than floor cleaning. Maybe it bothers me more because I’m 5′6″ and 7.5 months pregnant and it’s just low enough that I have to actually bend vs. a regular upright vacuum where the switch is right there… anyway, there are bigger items to be annoyed at so even that is something I can get over because it’s such an amazing little vacuum!
