It’s been about 3 weeks since I bought this A/C and it’s been pleasant experience so far. I am now able to sleep comfortably without leaving the windows open and listening to the blaring of traffic. First, this A/C looks cool, I’m a guy and definitely appreciate the overall appearance of this unit. I’ve seen some portable and window A/Cs that look like they haven’t changed since a lifetime ago. Second, reliability and performance have been outstanding so far. It cools my bedroom which is about 20×12 with little effort. The fan noise can be quite sudden and loud if you’re right next to the unit. One other nitpick I have is the white film that protects the stainless steel during transit. It does not detach from the edges easily and you need to use something like a paperclip to push it in or pick it off. Finally, the price of this is what I like the most, this is easily one of the low priced, high-end looking product, a combination that works for me. I just got my utility bill yesterday and the impact of the A/C was not material to me especially given the blissful nights sleep I can get.
