During the cooling process, water is extracted from the air as it passes through the unit. Most of this water is used to cool the unit and make it run more efficiently. This unit has a built-in water tank (not removable) with a drain outlet. When the tank fills, the compressor stops running. This indicates that the tank should be emptied. Included with the unit is a window mounted exhaust kit. AC must be vented via exhaust hose and window kit (included)

The price : $440.00Holy cow, what a mistake. We went for the 14,000 BTU and assumed the $500.00 price tag would do the job. Boy were we wrong! It can’t even successfully cool off a small family room. And the water/condensation tank is way too small. We’re always dumping the water out! Big mistake!!!

I also found no reviews on this unit. I just like the other person took a gamble buying this unit which was at a pricy $500 due to its nice looks. HOWEVER,,,, such as the saying goes “never judge a book by its cover” I bought this big piece of junk, and installed it. Thinking that my days of heat were over, I was very wrong. This unit after 24 hour operation for 2 days only cooled off my master bedroom to an excruciating 85 degrees fahrenheit. So I hope that this review helps someone who is debating whether to purchase this junk. BUY A WINDOW UNIT THEY COST LESS AND PERFORM BETTER!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought this item a week ago. it looks great on the picture but i did not see any review on this unit, so I just took a chance. I’m really disappointed with this unit. The fan does not shut off when it hit the desired temperature. It is Bulky. The exhaust hose can get really warm. It does not show the current room temperature, cheaper portable unit has this feature. Dont waste your money on this one.
