A company named Fedders. Sells several units they can be found on-line or at a Home depot store.

Also Royal Sovereign Has some they are on-line or at sears stores.

They do make them and there are several to choose from but they are expensive $300.00 to $500.00

Also watch out for the difference in Air Coolers and Air conditioners. The Air Coolers are NO good they will only slightly cool the air that they are blowing out and it will never actually lower the temperature of the room. Also try and put Portable Air conditioners on to a search engine like yahoo and several will come up.

They really are a good Idea I was looking for one several years back for my apartment that had really funny windows and we couldn’t put in a window unit. If you invest the money they are good air conditioners. The only thing that can be a trouble with them is during the cooling process the portable ones produce a lot more condensation (water) then the window units so the company’s built in water bins or trays that will have to be empty ever once in a while. but that’s a lot better then trying to sleep in your won sweat.
